Bessa+S was founded back in 2010 and is located in Chalandri, Attiki. It consists of an architectural and engineering team with 50 years of experience in the field. The practice is focused on offering a wide variety of archtectural and engineering services. Our portfolio includes private residences, apartments and offices, commercial properties.

Valuation and real estate development are clearly setting forth the objects of the expertise. The practice is officially certified as an expert valuer by the Ministry of Finance. It also bears the title of Recognised European Valuer by TEGoVA, The European Group of Valuers’ Associations. As an external valuation expert, it consults two out of four Greek systemic banks, Alpha Bank and the National Bank of Greece.

The practice, over the years, has offered million euros valuations in property, plant & equipment, a complete business plan for an industrial park (ΒΙΟΠΑ) in Keratea, Attiki and for the development of mall based multiplex cinemas in Kantza, Pallini, Attica. In the financial sector, the practice is conducting feasibility studies and techno-economic designs. As part of The Intermediary Body EFEPAE National Registry of Evaluators (’12) and the Ministry of Economy National Registry of Certified Inspectors for investment projects, the practice is an independent consultant of the government for the management of State Aids and European funding subsidy programs.



Civil Engineer National Technical University of Athens, MSc NTUA

Marianna Makari was born and grew up in Athens, Greece. She is married and a mother of two. She studied Civil Engineering in the National Technical University of Athens and completed her undergraduate studies in 2005 with a thesis concerning damage assessment on buildings due to earthquake loads. Her MSc was in “Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures” at NTUA (2007) and her diploma thesis  concerned the “Earthquake Behaviour of Elongated Historical Structures”. In 2006-2007, before completing her MSc, she worked for the Laboratory of Structural Analysis and Antiseismic Research of the NTUA on Research Projects concerning the assessment and strengthening of listed buildings. Since her graduation, she has worked as a Civil Engineer focusing in the fields of structural design and building restoration. In 2012, Marianna completed a 1-year Pedagogical Training Programme at the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education in Athens. Since 2013, she has also worked as an educator for private Vocational Training Institutes (IEK).
